This 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider was built in May of 2018 and was ordered new by its 1st and only owner, and was delivered to and serviced by Ferrari Lake Forest, Chicago’s premiere Ferrari dealer. Spec’d in Giallo Modena (yellow) with a Nero (black) leather interior, this 488 Spider was ordered with $100,327 in factory options. These options include:
Adaptive frontlight system, two tone body painting (Nero DS 1250), yellow brake calipers, carbon fiber rear air ducts, carbon fiber side air splitter, carbon fiber underdoor cover, carbon fiber driver zone + LEDs, carbon fiber central bridge, exterior sill kick plate in carbon, carbon fiber upper center console trim, dash inserts in carbon fiber, Daytona style seats, suspension lift system, Cavallino stitched on headrest (thread in Giallo 0113), sport exhaust system, carbon fiber front splitter, ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ shields, parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, passenger display, yellow rev. counter, 20” forged diamond rims, full electric seats, special equipment, colored standard stitching O.R. Upon taking delivery of their new 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider, it also included several gifts from the Ferrari factory. These items included a scale model car with their color specification, images of the car being built at the factory, a cast-aluminum sculpture of their Ferrari, and a special carbon case for a spare key. These are included with the vehicle.
Before any miles could be put in the car, the owner had the front of the Ferrari protected in PPF, along with the rear bumper. It might not have been needed, as the car has traveled a total of 347 miles since it was built by Ferrari. Keeping it protected amongst his collection of cars, the owner “enjoyed the form of the cars and were so beautiful, but hated to get them dirty.” During their ownership, the Ferrari was serviced and covered under the Ferrari 7-year Genuine Maintenance plan, ensuring that it was up to date on any maintenance items required.
Upon arriving at Canepa, the Ferrari 488 Spider was thoroughly inspected through the “Canepa Difference” process, both cosmetically and mechanically. With only 347 miles on the odometer and serviced its entire life, this is as close as you might get to buying a “new” Ferrari 488 Spider. The Giallo Modena paint is in perfect condition, the Nero leather interior with upgraded Daytona style seats look new, and the 661 horsepower 3.9L V8 engine is practically in the same condition as when it left the Ferrari factory.
