1967 Porsche 911S VIN: 307540S Original paint and interior Matching numbers engine and transmission Rare factory sunroof Original books, tools, spare, and jack Porsche Certificate of Authenticity 307540S was completed at the Porsche factory on 2/7/1967. The first owner of record was Nickolai Sikorsky, son of Igor Sikorsky, the founder of Sikorsky Aircraft who brought the world the first mass-produced helicopter, and the beautiful flying boats of the 1930s. He would own the 911S until November of 1974, when he sold it to Kenneth S. Kleitz of Rocky Hill, CT. Over the years this early 911 has seen a few owners, but what is consistent in their ownership is the care that was taken in preserving this amazing car. The paint and interior are original. The engine and transmission are original to the car, and are as tight as the 52,905 miles on the odometer would indicate. This 911S has never seen rust or and accident. The phrase time-capsule is bandied these days without much regard, but this example certainly deserves the title. It is exactly as you'd imagine if you had purchased the car in 1967, driven it infrequently, and kept phenomenal care of it over the years. Since arriving at Canepa the 911S has undergone the Canepa Difference process. Cleaned from the bottom up, then mechanically assessed, every system on the car has been evaluated and repaired if necessary. The 911S then underwent a complete concours level detail on every element of the car. The paint, interior, suspension, engine and drivetrain have all been hand-cleaned to a spotless condition. The protection of originality of the car was of the highest priority during the whole process. We are proud to present this early 911 as one of the finest preservation 911S in the country. As with all Canepa cars this 911 is as ready for the road, as it is for the concours lawn.
