This car was built by Hutcherson-Pagen for Billy Hagen’s Sunoco Ultra racing team to compete in the 1992 Winston cup series with driver Terry Labonte. This was their road race car primarily used at Watkins Glenn and Sears Point (Infineon Raceway). It was also use in short track events during the season.
In 1992 Labonte finished 8th in Winston Cup standings with one second place, four 4th place, one 5th place finish. Overall he had 18 top ten finishes in the season.

Due to it’s limited use during the 1992 season this car has not suffered any race damage like so many other NASCAR race cars. It is currently in exceptional condition.

Purchased by a prominate west coast Historic Stock Car collector and racer the car has been campaigned in HSCRS events since 1998. It is in race ready condition and set up to road race specification.

Terry Labonte
Terry Labonte started racing quarter-midgets when he was 7 and won a national championship at nine before moving onto the local short tracks in a stock car as a teenager. Driving on both dirt and asphalt, he won track championships in his hometown, in Houston, and in San Antonio from 1975 to 1977. During this time he met Louisiana businessman Billy Hagan.
