REQUIST A printable PDF document with Photos

This car was purchased new from Fontana Motors Ford in Fontana California. The original owner began converting the car to SCCA B production specifications in the 1970’s but never completed the conversion to a full race car. He occasionally drove the car on the street and then sold the car in the late 1970’s. The second owner completed the conversion over the next 5 to 6 years. It should be noted that this car was built “in period”.

After the car was finished it was never raced, it sat in the second owners garage in Palm Springs California and was occasionally driven on the street. The second owner had intended to have a friend compete with the car but failing health prevented him from ever doing so. Even though the car was built to compete SCCA road racing, it has never been involved in a race and as of December 2005 has less than 500 miles on the completed car and engine. Since that time the car has competed in one vintage hill climb in Washington and is currently street licensed in the state of Oregon.Engine
