Bob Tullius of Group 44 built this car to compete in the 1989 Winston Cup Series with driver Jim Sauter. They competed in 7 Cup races in 1989 with a best finish of 9th at Watkins Glen. Tullius is famous for his road racing success with championships in SCCA, TRANS-AM and IMSA. He took his experience to NASCAR and created one of the best road racing stock cars of it’s time.
This car has a fresh rebuilt engine and T10 transmission with approximately 2 hours of track time. Since the restoration, the car has seen very little track time and is in race ready condition. The car also features the heavy duty road race AP calipers and rotors.
