This unique one owner SSR was part of a major Northern California automotive collectors fleet and was treated with extreme care. It has only been driven 500 miles since new and features many upgrades not found on standard SSR.

The Chevrolet SSR (the SSR standing for Super Sport Roadster) is a convertible pickup truck. The truck was based on the large Chevrolet Trail Blazer’s platform but features “retro” styling and a steel convertible top designed by ASC. The production model was based on the SuperSport Roadster concept car shown at the 2000 Detroit Auto Show. An early-production SSR was the pace car for the 2003 Indianapolis 500 auto race.

The 2004 model used General Motors’ Vortec 5300 engine, a 5.3 L 300 hp V8.
