Starting with a pristine 1972 911E this car has been completely restored and modified into a spectacular "R Group" rocket ship. Powered by a mechanically fuel injected 2.9 twin plug built by Scott Hendry in Anaheim. Scott also did the installation of the A/C system and oil plumbing lines Dyno testing yielded 260 hp!. The very sanitary engine compartment features a dual air filter set with custom molded foam air filters . Cosmetic restroation was done by John Wilhoit Auto Restorations in Long Beach. The restoration to show quality level immediately earned the car "Best of Show" at the 2000 Fullerton Concours.
