This Turbo is a true survivor, totally original as it came from the factory including paint, interior and engine. This car was special ordered with optional electric passenger side mirror, sunroof, full leather interior, and "match to sample" exterior paint. This car has been in a private collection all of it’s life and has only 13,333 miles of easy use, includes Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

Though obviously 911-based, the Turbo Carrera was so heavily modified, both structurally and mechanically, that it was given its own factory type number: 930. The 930 was the fastest road car Porsche had ever produced, yet road-testers found it docile around town and blessed with handling that was surprisingly benign for such a potent rear-engine machine. All this moved one journalist to describe it as “the finest blend of ultimate performance and refinement I have ever come across,” a view that found wide agreement the world over.

Porsche made its first and most significant upgrades to the 930 for 1978, enlarging the engine to 3.3 liters and adding an air-to-air intercooler. By cooling the pressurized air charge, the intercooler helped increase power output to 300 hp (DIN); the rear ‘whale tail’ spoiler was re-profiled and raised slightly to make room for the intercooler.
